Batgirl

This cowl is from bat-texan, the boots are by Pleaser, and I made the rest. I LOVE wearing this costume :) I had wanted to make this for years, but sourcing a cowl proved difficult for a very long time. I am lucky enough to have two cowls in my collection now. I am very thankful to artists with the skill and desire to make these available to others :) I will post pictures of my costume with my new cowl when I have a chance to do a photo shoot.

Just adding the link to my folder on Facebook here where I have some progress pictures on how I made this.

Eowyn (Lord of the Rings)

I finished this costume back in 2004, but I took it out today to get some new photos. I have a little information on how I made it here.

I’ve finally created a facebook page for my costumes. I’ve got over 40 albums so far of costumes that I’ve made for myself and for others over the years. So far I have detailed progress pictures of my Anna and Wonder Woman costumes and I’ll be adding more progress pictures of other costumes as I find them.

I finished my new Wonder Woman costume in time for Free Comic Book Day. It was a lot of fun to wear and I can’t wait to wear it again!

I’m a huge fan of Karen Hallion and her Disney / TARDIS series. Love all of them! One of her recent designs is Anna from Frozen knocking on the door of the TARDIS.

So when Where’s the TARDIS? was part of Adelaide Oz Comic Con, I just had to take a picture with it in my Anna costume :)

Last night I went with Australian Costumers’ Guild members (and friends) to see a preview screening of The Dark Knight Rises in costume as Batgirl. Everyone looked amazing. I’ve always wanted to see a Batman movie in costume, and this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity :) The movie was fantastic! I can’t wait to see it again.
